Business License Tax Calculators

Below are business license tax calculators for retail and contractor businesses filing using the “gross receipts” method, which are the most common businesses in town.  Other tax rates and formulas may apply for special business operations required to file using “fixed tax” methods.  Pursuant to Clayton Municipal Code section 5.04.680, the rate of license tax payable for fixed tax rate payers shall be adjusted annually using the consumer price index published by the US Department of Labor.  The latest Business License Fixed Tax Rate Schedule applicable to the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020 is available here.
