Regional Transportation Agencies
Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC)
MTC is the transportation planning, financing and coordinating agency for the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area.
Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA)
CCTA is the region’s Congestion Management Agency responsible for managing the county’s sales tax program by maintaining and improving the county’s transportation system through planning, funding, and delivering critical transportation infrastructure projects and programs.
Transportation Partnership and Cooperation (TRANSPAC)
TRANSPAC is the Regional Transportation Planning Committee (RTPC) for Central Contra Costa County and is comprised of elected officials, planning commissioners, and technical staff from the cities. TRANSPAC is responsible for the development of transportation plans, projects, and programs from Central County areas.
