Solar and EV Charging Permits
The City of Clayton accepts online solar and electrical vehicle charging station permit submittals through the use of Contra Costa County’s ePermit Center . Other features of the County’s ePermit Center available to the residents of Clayton include electronic submittal of residential building permits which do not require plan review (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, re-roof), payment of fees, schedule inspections, and permit status.
A current City Business License needs to be on file prior to building permit issuance.
