This summer, youth 18 and under can ride participating Contra Costa County buses for free through Youth Ride Free. From June 1 through July 31, young riders can hop on participating County Connection, Tri Delta Transit, and WestCAT buses without an application, ID, or special pass. It is a simple way for students to get to summer jobs, parks, libraries, activities, and time with friends while building confidence and independence on transit.
Youth Ride Free is made possible with support from Contra Costa County Supervisors Diane Burgis and Shanelle Scales-Preston, the Contra Costa Transportation Authority, and state LCTOP funds. Learn more at YouthRideFree.com.
